Land Use Alternatives and Capacity Report
The Land Use Alternatives and Capacity Report (download the pdf) identifies three General Plan land use map alternatives and addresses the impact of each alternative on five focus areas in the City. Following City Council and Planning Commission feedback in June 2021, a fourth land use map alternative (Alternative D) was developed for further consideration. See the Documents & Maps page for a map of each alternative.
Brownfields Revitalization Planning
The City is undertaking detailed land use planning and analysis of two revitalization sites (NRG Site and SFN Site) and three opportunity areas. This effort will inform the General Plan Update and will be incorporated into the Land Use Map Alternatives.
